Standards Development is an important component of O³neida activities.  Our mission to foster the adoption of distributed industrial automation technologies based upon open standards describes the rationale for O³neida’s involvement with standards setting bodies, world wide.

While O³neida has no direct responsibilities for standards development or maintenance, O³neida works with several agencies that do have direct responsibilities in this regard.  O³neida collaborates with IEEE, ISA, IEC, ISO, and other organisations on projects such as those described in this section of the O³neida Web Site.
