O³neida operates across a broad range of industrial automation areas from devices through to enterprises.  A key component of O³neida's interest and expertise relates to sector analysis which we define to be an examination of the context within which distributed industrial automation is occuring.  Included in this analysis are market trends, drivers of change analysis, and technology roadmapping.  Also included are special projects focused on subsectors of critical interest in collaboration with network partners such as the NIST - led Smart Assembly Project.
